The IRIS-COV consortium members were selected to include world-class researchers and technology developers in their respective fields; committed medical doctors and clinicians currently on the first line of fighting COVID-19 and caring for those affected on a daily basis; experienced medical, clinical and regulatory consultants and entrepreneurs in the biotech and healthcare industry working towards advancing patients access to tools for better health and wellbeing worldwide. By employing mature technologies, novel concepts and well-defined delivery and dissemination routes. It also concerns measures and actions for fast implementation in hospitals, intensive care units, airports, testing points and even at home, for an immediate impact in public health control.
